What is a Foreign Physician Consultant?
A Foreign Physician Consultant has:
-
A strong back ground in USA , European, and middle eastern immigration laws.
-
Substantial knowledge of foreign politics, political history and current events.
-
Knowledge of US criminal and divorce laws
-
Knowledge of Physician recruitment
A Foreign Physician Consultant must have the ability to:
-
Find resource in all of the above categories, and be able
to direct the physician to those resources.
-
Listen. Often times when a physician contacts
a consultant, time is limited; and the consultant must be able to get to the point and get to it fast.
-
Analyze the past, present and future, and give
unyielding opinion based on facts.
The Foreign Physician consultant needs to
constantly hold the mission of the position in the forefront to avoid
becoming lost in the complicated laws, politics, and history.
That mission is to make sure that the underserved (poor) people of the United States are provided with medical
care. Foreign Physicians are in communities that American physicians normally do not want to be in.
Foreign Physicians are the glue to many communities can not other wise afford the best that money can provide.
What does the
Office of Celeste Tabriz do?
The Office of Celeste Tabriz is a non-profit
organization that specializes in making sure that the people in
medically underserved areas will always have access to medical care.
We know that Foreign Physicians have lives that can be just a complicated and busy as the next
person. We understand they have the added stress of being a physician, being in a new country, and specking a new language,
24/7 - not to mention that they must deal with racism, language barriers, marriage problems, legal problems, money
problems, issues with their cars, and baby sitting, just to name of
few.
We are here to listen, to help, and to guide the foreign physician during their stay in the U.S.
“In order to do no harm to a person, you must first understand that person”.
