Michael D. Tracy,
Attorney at Law
Michael D. Tracy is the owner and sole partner of Tracy law firm in
Sacramento, California. He is a member of the bar of both Washington
State and California. After law school at Gonzaga University in Spokane,
Washington he practiced real estate law in Spokane, Washington for seven
years. He also has experience in the mortgage business and title insurance
business.
Upon relocating back to his home state of California in 1986 he worked
with a prominent law firm in the real estate litigation field for a
year, then again formed his own firm. In association with long time
Sacramento attorney Archibald Mull, III one particularly large and difficult
case was won in Federal Court in Fresno, and then upheld on appeal after
argument before a panel of federal appeals judges in San Francisco.
That case involved the anti-deficiency statute ( a law that states
that even if foreclosed property is worth less than the mortgage, the
holder of the mortgage cannot sue the owner for the difference) as it
applies to a corporate guarantor of a purchase money mortgage. The case
was published and can be found at: Paradise Land and Cattle Company
v. McWilliams Enterprises 959 F.2d 1463 (9th Circuit, 1992).
While working in the general civil litigation field with an emphasis
on real estate matters, more and more injury claims began coming to
the firm. A second office was opened in South Sacramento to service
the Vietnamese community in that area.
What is a Foreign Physician Consultant?
A Foreign Physician Consultant has:
-
A strong back ground in USA , European, and middle eastern immigration laws.
-
Substantial knowledge of foreign politics, political history and current events.
-
Knowledge of US criminal and divorce laws
-
Knowledge of Physician recruitment
A Foreign Physician Consultant must have the ability to:
-
Find resource in all of the above categories, and be able
to direct the physician to those resources.
-
Listen. Often times when a physician contacts
a consultant, time is limited; and the consultant must be able to get to the point and get to it fast.
-
Analyze the past, present and future, and give
unyielding opinion based on facts.
The Foreign Physician consultant needs to
constantly hold the mission of the position in the forefront to avoid
becoming lost in the complicated laws, politics, and history.
That mission is to make sure that the underserved (poor) people of the United States are provided with medical
care. Foreign Physicians are in communities that American physicians normally do not want to be in.
Foreign Physicians are the glue to many communities can not other wise afford the best that money can provide.
What does the
Office of Celeste Tabriz do?
We know that Foreign Physicians have lives that can
be just a complicated and busy as the next person. We understand
they have the added stress of being a physician, being in a new country,
and specking a new language, 24/7 - not to mention that they must deal
with racism, language barriers, marriage problems, legal problems, money
problems, issues with their cars, and baby sitting, just to name of
few.
We are here to listen, to help, and to guide the foreign physician during their stay in the U.S.
“In order to do no harm to a person, you must first understand that person”.
